FAQ

  • What paper do you print on?
Hahnemule Photorag 308 100% cotton - a matte paper with some texture ( like a fine watercolor paper). There is a second choice to use Epson Lustre 4lbs paper ( a smoother paper), best used when printing photographs ( which will be added soon to this site). A two inch white border is added to the print size.
  • Do you print sizes on request?
Yes! Please email the name and size of print you would like and we will send you a quote.
  • What is the printing process?
Prints are digitally printed using a state of the art Epson printer and archival inks.
  • What does it mean when a print is an "edition"?"
All prints are limited editions. Some are small edition of 12 and others are editions of 100. After an edition is sold out prints of that image are no longer available. All prints are signed and numbered. The 2 numbers (fraction) on the left of each print represent A: the number of that specific print B: the total amount in that edition
  • Are all prints signed?
Yes all prints are signed "BALMER" in the bottom right corner. Some "editions" are signed and numbered and others just have a signature.
  • Are the prints framed?
No the prints are not framed and are sent rolled in a tube.
  • What is the return/exchange policy?
If you are not happy with your print please email immediately for an exchange or full refund.
